Patrick Toney - Managing Partner & Portfolio Manager
Patrick has been the principal and lead portfolio manager
for The Evolution Fund I, LP, since its launch in 2010. Prior to that, he
managed client assets beginning in 2005, using his "price implied expectations"
approach to outperform the S&P 500 Index's total return by 5.7% annually (gross
of fees). Patrick studied at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's renowned
Applied Security Analysis Program, en route to earning his Master's in Finance,
Investments and Banking. He co-managed the equity portion of the University's
$60 million endowment fund, helping his team beat the benchmark by over 200
basis points. Patrick also holds Bachelor's degrees in Biology and English from
Purdue University, and he lives in Madison with his wife and four children. He
enjoys playing golf, biking and reading in his spare time.
